From Racing Roots to Rally Legends: The Buzzetta Subaru Collection

New York, NY – The New York International Auto Show is thrilled to announce an exhibit showcasing the remarkable Subaru collection of James Buzzetta Jr., -- a third-generation automobile dealer and auto enthusiast -- as part of its 125th Anniversary celebrations. Continuing his family's tradition of excellence and innovation, James Buzzetta has built an extraordinary collection of classic Subarus, including each generation of Subaru's rally-inspired WRX.

“We are honored to showcase the Buzzetta Collection as part of our 125th-anniversary celebrations this year,” said Mark Schienberg, president of the New York International Auto Show. “This display represents a new generation of car collectors and enthusiasts, many of whom were introduced to racing and rallying through video games"

The Buzzetta legacy began with James’ grandfather, Joe, who transformed a humble repair shop into a thriving dealership after meeting Max Hoffman, the legendary importer who introduced European cars to the U.S. Joe's career as Porsche’s first American factory race driver and his competitive spirit laid the foundation for what would become Competition Auto Group—a business that now includes five dealerships and employs over 500 people.
