Fellow NAWIC Members -

There has been a lot of talk about transparency. As a member you, you can "audit" the National Board or your Chapter Board. You will not have a voice or a vote, but you can observe and learn.

There is so much about NAWIC that can be confusing but is how we legally have to function per our classification as an organization. My early NAWIC years were fortunate. I was surrounded by people who not only understood, but they were also willing to answer my incessant questions. Asking questions is not a weakness, it is a sign of strength and the courage to state "I don't know, can you help me understand." My hope is you will see me as that person. I personally love a good game of "stump the Raven." If I don't know an answer, I will search it out and let you know.

Today is the final day for voting. If you have already cast your ballot, thank you. If you have not yet, the polls are open until 11:59 pm CST tonight. Each ballot is unique; if you do not have one, please email the office. They are monitoring emails today to assist if needed. The key thing is making sure your voice is heard.
