Emergency lighting is critical to the safety

of your facility, but problems are often

discovered only when something fails or an inspection is approaching.

A damaged sign.

A fixture that no longer operates.

A battery showing signs of degradation.

A remote head pointing in the wrong direction.

Emergency lighting that isn't providing the coverage it should.

The good news?

You don't have to wait for an inspection to find out.

BeLuce offers complimentary Emergency Lighting Site Audits to help facility owners, engineers, contractors, and building teams understand the condition of their existing emergency lighting system.

WHAT DOES A BELUCE SITE AUDIT INVOLVE?

A BeLuce representative will visit your facility and conduct a visual and functional review of the existing emergency lighting system.

The goal is simple: Identify potential issues before they become bigger problems.

Our audit looks at the key components that contribute to a properly functioning emergency lighting system.

1. Visual Inspection

We We assess the condition, visibility, and functionality of your emergency signage, identifying potential concerns such as obstructions or signs that may be difficult to see or properly function.

2. Physical Condition

We inspect emergency fixtures and signs for visible damage or conditions that may require attention.

3. Direction Verification

Emergency lighting needs to illuminate the path of egress effectively.

We verify that emergency heads are positioned and directed correctly to provide the intended illumination along the path of egress.

4. Function Testing

Are your emergency fixtures actually operating?

We verify that the emergency lighting fixtures are functioning and identify fixtures that may require attention. This will only be a function test that we perform.

5. Battery & Indicator Check

Battery units are a critical part of an emergency lighting system.

We check charging status and look for indicators of battery degradation.

6. Comprehensive Report

Following the audit, you'll receive detailed findings along with maintenance recommendations.

WHY HAVE A SITE AUDIT?

A site audit gives you a better understanding of the condition of your existing emergency lighting system before an inspection or emergency occurs.

This is not just emergency lighting; this is life safety!

PROTECT YOUR FACILITY

Identify damaged, non-functioning, or compromised emergency lighting equipment.

IMPROVE SAFETY

Verify that emergency signs and fixtures are positioned and functioning as intended.

IDENTIFY POTENTIAL ISSUES

Find problems that may otherwise go unnoticed.

BE BETTER PREPARED

Address potential concerns before your next inspection.

SITE AUDITS AREN'T JUST FOR FACILITY OWNERS

For engineers and contractors, an audit can provide valuable information when working on renovations, retrofits, additions, or upgrades to an existing facility.

Understanding the actual site conditions can help your team make better decisions when planning emergency lighting improvements.

And if the audit identifies areas requiring additional emergency lighting, BeLuce can also provide a complimentary emergency lighting layout to help with the next stage of the project.
