No Place Is Off Limits!

Michael Thome, ACE

Technical Service Manager
Rentokil Pest Control

From healthcare, to industrial, to residential sites...no place is off limits to bed bugs! A commercial facility can go from no bed bugs to a full blown infestation almost overnight. This population explosion of bed bugs becomes a serious threat to business owners. Get the facts on the biology and control of these pesky little buggers!

Mike Thome began his career in the Pest Control industry over 18 years ago. He started as a technician in the Rentokil North America office located in Cleveland, OH. Mike worked as a pest technician for 12 years. His daily route consisted mainly of Commercial Customers. He provided pest service to Third Party Audited accounts including hospitals and colleges. While a technician he also performed fumigation, vegetation management and Sentricon Termite services.

After being promoted to Operations Manager, Mike continued his education and achieved his ACE Certification and became AIB Certified. As a manager Mike was responsible for 14 technicians overseeing their daily routes, training and assisting with the overall business operation in Cleveland.

Mike began his Technical Services Manager role in 2017. He has worked to write Technical Service Protocols for National Accounts such as SpeedWay and Starbucks. Mike continues to be involved with fumigation services by assisting local offices. In his new position Mike helps to provide pest solutions for accounts with persistent problems. He also completes facility assessments for pharmaceutical customers. Mike continues to be involved with training by overseeing the career advancement of new hires for his local offices. Mike also loves the opportunity to speak about pests and pest control.
