Community Notice from
Dranesville Supervisor John Foust
Dear Neighbor,

A virtual community workshop to develop a set of design guidelines for downtown McLean is schedule for Wednesday, March 23 at 6:00 p.m. Your participation will play an important role in helping formulate design guidelines for sidewalks, lighting, and public spaces in the McLean Community Business Center.

The guidelines will be used by owners, developers, citizens, and Fairfax County staff, Planning Commission, and Board of Supervisors when proposing, designing, or reviewing development projects. Whether a development requires zoning or site plan approval or is being constructed by-right, developers are encouraged to abide by these Guidelines to assist in implementing the community vision for McLean.

The interactive workshop will include breakout rooms and polls for the community to share its design preferences. For more details about this project, the workshop and how to register, visit the McLean Design Guidelines website
