Dear Trinity Families,

God is good, and a LOT is happening at Trinity! School enrollment continues to climb, new families and staff are being added almost weekly to our childcare, and our church is honing in on its next senior pastor. We praise God for His work here and throughout His kingdom.

Readers are asked to give special attention to the meeting invitation for Sunday, November 9.

Success at In His Image School Gala

Now in its 5th year, the Trinity School Benefit Gala has become a premier fundraising event in our area. We owe deep gratitude and thanks to the many people who supported this year's event, beginning with our staff (did you know almost every employee of Trinity works the event!?). THANK YOU teachers, childcare leads, aides, support staff, and an especially big shout out to our event coordinator, Catrina Kagerbauer, who helped make this night possible.

In addition to the staff was a key group of volunteers, "The Gala Squad," who collected auction items, secured tables, and sacrificed so much:

  • Robin Huber (friend of Trinity)
  • Danielle Connolly (school parent)
  • Erin Andrews (school parent)
  • Brenda Perry (church member)

Our final totals will come in the next few weeks. Funds were raised to support our three funding targets: school curriculum resources, the new gym fund, and debt reduction. Click the button below for a picture collection from the night.

Nine Students Confirm Their Faith
on Reformation Weekend

On one of the great festival weekends in the Lutheran Church (The Reformation), Trinity was proud to confirm nine students as they professed their faith in Jesus! Trinity's model for confirmation echoes that of God's design for spiritual formation and education, meaning, it starts in the home! Parents walk with their children through the confirmation process beginning in sixth grade, culminating in students' personal confession of faith during the fall of their ninth-grade year.

Parents walk with their children through the confirmation process, culminating in students' personal confession of faith. We praise God for our confirmands and their families!

Congrats to Leah, Aubrey, Natalie, Harper, June, Caitlyn, Adam, Brayden, and Reagan!

If you would like more information about confirmation or would like to discuss your family's unique circumstances, please email Pastor Carl.

Coming Soon: Campus Safety Survey

At Trinity, the safety of everyone in our building continues to be a top priority. Members of our School Safety Intervention Team (SSIT) meet regularly to review procedures, explore new partnerships, and expand our efforts to maintain our welcoming and secure environment. We look forward to sharing some of those NEW efforts with our community in the near future.

As we make strides toward improving school safety, we will seek feedback from our school and childcare families. Later this week, a Campus Safety Survey will be distributed to families. We encourage everyone to participate in this survey, as it will help shape our team's direction toward safety improvements both now and in the future.

Parent Listening Session / Phase 2 Update

November 9, 2025 @ 12pm

Twice a year, and in compliance with DPI regulations, Trinity hosts an open forum for parents. This is the parents' chance to ask questions and gain insight into the school's direction. Trinity's leadership has determined the best mode for these sessions is to be held in conjunction with existing congregation meetings. All school families are invited to attend this meeting, Sunday, November 9, at 12pm in our sanctuary.

Also at that meeting will be a gym update! Trinity's ExCC has been working on a plan for an achievable phase 2 new gym. The image shown above was revealed during the school gala and is now part of ongoing discussions as we work towards the future of Trinity athletics, events, and fine arts. Join us at the meeting to hear about the updated design documents, offer feedback, and hear about next steps.

Included in the most up-to-date design:

  • Two full-size high school courts and seating for 500-1,000.
  • Mezzanine level to connect existing classrooms to future classrooms and the gym lobby.
  • Later phase fine arts addition for orchestra, band, general music, and practice spaces.
  • Office and conference room spaces.
  • Substantial lobby space for events.

We look forward to our continued work and future iterations of this plan. The ExCC will communicate the next opportunities for feedback and design input.

Senior Pastor Call Committee Update

The call committee continues to work diligently to bring quality candidates to our congregation.

The committee has narrowed the field to three (3) finalists, each of whom will be making in-person campus visits for tours, one-on-ones with senior leaders, and group conversations with staff. The first of the three finalists visited this past Friday, 10.24.25.

The committee anticipates a special congregational meeting on Sunday, November 30, at 12pm to vote on a candidate. This meeting has not been formally announced and is only tentative - please watch the bulletin and other Trinity communications for the formal announcement.
