Elementary school students are invited to team up virtually with high school volunteers for homework help and fun reading meet ups!  

Volunteers are from the WHS National English Honor Society, WHS Peer Tutors, and Moffat Library’s Teen Advisory Board. 

Please note that spaces for elementary students are limited by the number of active volunteers, so be sure to sign up soon!

BIRDING BEYOND THE BACKYARD

Join a member of the Orange County Audubon Society to learn about bird behavior, and identification in the wild!
Do sparrows confuse you? Trouble telling Downy from Hairy? A program for those who enjoy watching birds and want to know more about them.

HISTORIC POSTCARD JIGSAW PUZZLES
Take a trip down memory lane with our collection of virtual historic postcard jigsaw puzzles of scenes around Washingtonville!

Available in varying levels of difficulty, (number of puzzle pieces) the postcards are a fun and meaningful way to test your puzzle skills while enjoying the beauty of these colorized, historic postcards. All images are from the Moffat Library's local history collection.
