Summer Reading is a FREE non-competitive reading program FOR ALL AGES, babies through adults. It is generously sponsored by the Friends of Moffat Library.

SUMMER FUN
Online Activities & Programs
ZOOMenagerie w/
Everything Animals
Monday, July 6 & July 20 @ 6 PM
via Zoom
For Ages 6+

ZOOMenagerie is a 30-minute virtual and interactive live animal experience! We’ll be meeting and Zooming with 3 animal ambassadors from Everything Animals Resource Center.

Participants will be given a list of items found around the house that they will be asked to bring to the meeting. These items will be used to give everyone an idea of what each animal actually feels like. Questions from the audience will be welcome both between the animals and after the meeting. Hope to see you there!

For July 6 program @ 6 pm via Zoom, please bring:

  • A rubber or plastic dinosaur or lizard
  • An orange peel
  • Something furry
  • A hair brush or comb
  • Wear colorful clothing
 
This program will be run virtually via Zoom. 
A link with instructions on accessing the meeting will be emailed to registrants the day of the program. Please register here

Whats Inside? w/
Everything Animals

Wednesday, July 8 & July 22 @ 2 PM

For Preschoolers

“What’s Inside?” is a 20-minute virtual and interactive live animal experience for preschool aged children! We’ll be meeting and Zooming with animal ambassadors from Everything Animals Resource Center. For this program, kids will "meet with animals who hide inside their own spaces and surprise us when they come out to visit. Please register here
WHAT TO EXPECT @ What's Inside?: Participants will be given a list of items found around the house that they will be asked to bring to the meeting.

For July 8 program @ 2 PM via Zoom, please bring:

  • A seashell
  • A brush
  • A marshmallow of something puffy (like inflated fingers of a rubber glove)
  • A plastic container with a lid
  • A “magic wand” prop like a stick from outdoors (kids can also use their hands)
 
This program will be run virtually via Zoom. A link with instructions on accessing the meeting will be emailed to registrants the day of the program.
