Penguin Regatta 2022!

Sat, Jan 8, 11:00a - 5:00p.

What better way to start 2022 than partying like a penguin! Yes: Be outside with your best "waddle" or "raft"

We'll spend the day sailing a course that takes you to part of the lake you may not have been to before. Dress for success: layers. And extra points for Penguin-ware. Remember: There's no bad weather -- just the wrong clothing.

We'll use our diesel fleet, so all boat will have a head and a cabin to re-warm as needed. Open to all remembers, regardless of experience, as the club will provide an experienced skipper for each boat.

Bring a snack to share and plan to enjoy your day on the lake.

An amusing and entertaining post-sailing event is rumored although not connected with the event.

Please call or text the dock to confirm your reservation. 770-614-5724

The 3rd in our Winter "You're Going Sailing When?" series of events. Not to be confused with an annual Polar Bear Swims, our plan is to stay warm, stay dry, and have a boatload of fun sailing to another interesting lake location.

Do yourself of favor and get out of the house for fresh air and natural Vitamin D (sunshine). It will do your spirit and your body well.
