Dear CRC Supporter,
The first thing I noticed when I walked into my new office one year ago was the white board filled with words of welcome from the staff. Their thoughtfulness touched my heart because I knew their words also represented their hopes. And the one word I’d use to summarize their aspirations is: stability.
With one year behind and an open horizon ahead, CRC is stable.
A key indicator of this is the Strategic Plan and forthcoming Strategic Initiatives Campaign approved by the Board of Directors on September 10. We have a vision for our future and a plan that focuses our attention on
several strategic priorities
now through 2022... and beyond.
As I start my second year of service to CRC, the new word I'd use to describe the spirit of our organization is: CONFIDENCE.
Not the kind of confidence that’s arrogant, repugnant or self-serving. Never! But the kind of quiet confidence that knows self: built upon the foundation of humility, framed in compassion and finished with steadfast resolve to do our part in helping hungry, homeless and hurting people in our communities.
