I remember.

After witnessing State Representative Bill Patmon's courageous stand in a committee meeting in the Ohio House of Representatives, I gave him this message: "Bill, I just want you to know, God's hand is on you, He is going to use you in a powerful way. He is going to use you in a miraculous way."

I was right.

Representative Bill Patmon, a Democrat, stood firm against his party and, against all odds, helped pave the way for the successful override of Governor John Kasich’s second veto, allowing the Ohio Heartbeat Bill to pass.

It was an incredible honor to know Bill Patmon, an extraordinary example of courage and an inspiration of what it means to be a true leader. God worked through him to do the miraculous and we are deeply grateful for his leadership and his life.

Both of these heroes of the faith led the charge for the Ohio Heartbeat Law. Both now cheering us on from the balcony of Heaven. What an incredible blessing to have known them.
