We’ll kick things off with service projects before heading to San Pedro Square for an afternoon of celebration.


The annual State of the City isn’t about long speeches or formalities. It’s an interactive, community-driven experience that reflects who we are as a city and what we’re building together.

Get in on the Big Game Weekend excitement at San Pedro Superfest!


This free, block-party-style celebration takes over San Pedro Square community fun all weekend long. With food, drinks, and family-friendly programming throughout an all-weekend entertainment zone, San Pedro Superfest brings the energy, culture, and creativity of San Jose to the heart of the Big Game celebration.

San José Small Business Start-Up Grants

The City of San José’s Office of Economic Development and Cultural Affairs has opened applications for its new Small Business Start-Up Grant Program. The program will award up to 20 grants totaling $150,000 to early-stage, for-profit businesses in San José with fewer than 35 employees. Funds can be used for start-up expenses such as licensing, equipment, staffing, or loan down payments. Applications are due by Friday, March 6, 2026.
