Assemblywoman Reynolds-Jackson believes that everyone deserves a healthy smile. This is why she was honored to play an instrumental role in helping Kinder Smile secure $250,000 from New Jersey's FY2025 budget. This funding will allow for perinatal dental services. This work highlights the importance of oral health and bill A897 which would establish the MOM oral health three-year pilot program.

Assemblywoman Reynolds-Jackson advocated for and helped secure $200,000 in the New Jersey FY2025 budget for the Trenton Youth Wrestling Team. The program which is open to children in 3rd to 8th grade provides education, tutoring, mentorship, and physical fitness through wrestling.

Thanks to Assemblywoman Reynolds-Jackson's efforts, $250,000 in funding was allocated in New Jersey's FY2025 budget for the Homefront NJ Diaper Expansion Program. This funding will help provide diapers to low-income families, ensuring those in need have access to this essential resource.

Free Lead Testing and Healthy Home Assessments for All Mercer County Residents!

All Mercer County residents are eligible for free lead testing and healthy home assessments through Isles. These assessments evaluate your home’s lead presence, energy efficiency, and other health indicators. Renters can access health and safety assessments without landlord approval. If eligible, you could have lead-based paint hazards removed and energy upgrades provided to your home or apartment.

Call to schedule an assessment to identify hazards like lead, asthma triggers, mold, moisture, or other dangers. The process takes about an hour and can fit your schedule.

If lead hazards are found and you qualify, Isles may offer up to $13,000 in lead and structural repairs, including window or door replacements, roofing repairs, and other structural improvements. Renters can access these services with landlord permission. Click here to learn more and schedule your assessment.

Once lead repairs are completed, your home could also qualify for energy efficiency upgrades, like heating system replacements, attic insulation, and air sealing. These improvements not only enhance your home’s safety and comfort but also help save on energy costs.
