Saint Mark’s Cathedral, Minneapolis
The Very Rev. Paul J. Lebens-Englund
25 September 2020
Almighty and everliving God,
source of all wisdom and understanding,
be present with those who take counsel
in the Episcopal Church in Minnesota this weekend
for the renewal and mission of your Church.
Teach us in all things to seek first your honor and glory.
Guide us to perceive what is right,
and grant us both the courage to pursue it
and the grace to accomplish it;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Dear Saint Markans & Friends,
A reminder that ECMN clergy and delegates will gather on-line this weekend with Bishop Loya and other identified diocesan leaders for the sake of connection, prayer, discernment, decision, and action on behalf of God and God’s Church here in Minnesota.
With myriad short- and long-term challenges before us, we will prayerfully commit to those things for which we are best equipped and best positioned to positively affect for the Common Good.
As this is Bishop Loya’s first diocesan convention among us, it will be our first opportunity to hear from him what he has discerned as our initial priorities for mission and ministry in the years ahead. The Bishop’s address will be live-streamed at 9am Saturday morning and is available to everyone (see link below).
Saint Mark’s is ably represented by a slew of clergy and delegates:
Mr. Paul Lakeman
Mr. Dan Wood
Mr. Jim Huber
Mrs. Denise Graber
Ms. Mary Lusk
Ms. Stacey Clatanoff (alt)
Mrs. Monica Kruger (alt)
The Rev. Lowell Johnson
The Rev. Terry Erickson
The Rev. Rena Turnham
The Rev. Anna Ostenso Moore
The Rev. Siri Hauge Hustad
The Rev. Tim Kingsley
The Very Rev. Paul Lebens-Englund
Please hold this weekend’s events and its participants in your prayers. May we seek always God’s will for us and may we be found ever-ready to follow where the Spirit leads us!
Grace & Peace,
*REMEMBER: There is NO Saint Mark’s 10:30am worship this Sunday, as all of ECMN will be gathering for diocesan-wide worship at 10am.
