"Sing to the Lord, all the world!
Proclaim every day the good news that he has saved us.

- 1 Chronicles 16:23-33
from the Good News Translation
Have you been hoping to read some good news? Then this month’s newsletter is for you!
God has blessed us mightily. In this time of COVID, CUW is holding steady in undergraduate enrollment-- and the CUAA campus achieved an all-time record high. Concordia has reason to be thankful! (Read more below and celebrate with us!)

As Christians, we are called to share the good news about Jesus Christ with everyone. The word “gospel” literally means Good News. This month’s scripture verse (above) enthusiastically tells us to sing to the Lord and proclaim the good news of salvation.
Do you have something to share with us from your department of good news? We would love to hear about it! During this month of thanksgiving, we are especially grateful for each one of you.
God’s blessings on you and your loved ones.
Scholarship recipients humbled
by your generosity
Without scholarship support, most of our students would not be able to attend Concordia University and receive an education rooted in Christian values. Thank you to all those who have supported scholarships and our students throughout the years. You have made a positive impact on our scholarship recipients as well as the many people they will serve in their lives.
You have helped these students follow in your footsteps so that they, too, could live out the Concordia mission.
On behalf of our students, thank you!
"I am grateful for Concordia for many reasons: The people I have met, lifelong friendships I have made, the meaningful, faith-centered education, the role it’s played in helping me maintain my faith and trust in God, and the many opportunities it has opened up for me. Thank you so much for helping students like me receive an education that will truly help us make a positive impact on our world."
--Cristina Stinson, Class of 2021
Undergraduate enrollment holds steady amidst COVID-19

Please join CUW Music for our first virtual presentation of Christmas at Concordia! A cherished tradition at CUW, this concert features selections—both sacred and secular—by our musical ensembles at CUW. Our performing groups include both instrumental and vocal ensembles, as well as our handbell ensembles and sing-along carols performed by our esteemed organist Dr. James Freese. More than a dozen ways veterans can receive financial support to come to Concordia
CUW is committed to helping veteran learners of all backgrounds and ages thrive through a transformative, and high-quality education. And we’re working hard to make a Concordia education more affordable than ever for military students—either through university-supported scholarships or by partnering with respected organizations in the community or throughout the nation. In case you missed it ...
Milwaukee County Sherriff Earnell Lucas sat down with Concordia President Patrick Ferry on October 22 for our fall Leadership Series event. The two had a candid discussion about a variety of topics, including faith on the job, leadership styles, and managing in a crisis. If you were not able to attend the Zoom event, or even if you did and would like to watch again, click here.
