Many of you are praying for those affected by the horrendous wildfires in California. The loss of life and destruction of homes and livelihoods is heartbreaking and overwhelming. The restoration of homes and communities will continue long after the fires are contained.
Below is a video message from Bishop John Taylor of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles that details their situation. This news bulletin also provides an account of some of the structures that were destroyed including St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Altadena and the parish rectories at St. Matthew's in Pacific Palisades.
