Palm Beach County is voting!

Early voting has begun, and our citizens are showing up in record numbers to vote. Why is it important for us to take time from our busy day to vote?

Our men and women in the Armed Forces fought and died for our

right to vote.

Voting is the primary way we citizens participate in the

democratic process.

Elections have consequences. Public policy is shaped by the

officials whom we vote into office.

This is our opportunity to choose our government officials, and to shape the future for ourselves and for generations to come.

JUST VOTE!

Maria Sachs, Mayor

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue

Firefighters are the soul of our community. In short, firefighters are vital not only for extinguishing fires, but also for ensuring the overall safety, preparedness, and resilience of a community. Their presence brings peace of mind and strengthens the social fabric, creating a safer and more prepared society.

Station 53 was honored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches with the Station of the Year Award. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue’s Station 53 responded to nearly 4,000 calls over the past year., and its firefighter-paramedics have distinguished themselves by achieving the highest number of cardiac resuscitations in the county during that time. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Station 53 for their commitment and hard work.

40 Years of Service by Palm Beach County

Fire Rescue

We have been fortunate in our community to have a fire department that has been committed to serving the public with safety service and support. I am proud to support the men and women of our Palm Beach County Fire Rescue department.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue 9/11 Ceremony

Who could forget the heroism on Sept. 11, 2001. This horrific day on U.S. soil tested the courage and bravery of our firefighters. We’ve lost more firefighters on that day than any other day in history. I was proud to represent the people of this county in honoring the men and women who sacrificed their lives in defense of our country. Let us never forget.

🎃 HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃

As Halloween approaches, it’s time to embrace the spooky fun spirit! From carving pumpkins to dressing up in favorite costumes, there’s so much to enjoy. Here are some tips to make the most of your Halloween while staying safe:

1. Trick-or-Treat Safety: Stick to well-lit areas and travel in groups. Bring flashlights and wear reflective clothing to stay visible.

2. Check Treats: Always inspect candy before indulging. Discard anything that looks suspicious or has been opened.

3. Stay Aware: Keep an eye out for little ghouls and goblins while driving and remind kids to look both ways before crossing streets.

Always keep safety in mind to ensure a fun and memorable Halloween for everyone! 🎉👻
