Coppin State University's 118th Commencement

CSU’s annual commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 19 th . This year’s featured speaker is noted author and motivational speaker, Stedman Graham.

Mr. Graham was on our campus in October for an Identity event, guiding young people on how to discover their identities on their path to success. Over 500 CSU graduates will receive their Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees at the graduation exercises.
Decision Day 2018!

Over 400 prospective students and their families were on campus for Decision Day 2018, this past Saturday. A special "thank you" to everyone in the Coppin community who helped to make it a success.
The Links Establishes New Mentoring Program
at Coppin State

The Links, Inc., Harbor City Chapter, has established a new mentoring program at Coppin State. The program will provide mentoring for CSU juniors in order to improve their chances for success. The program will include one-on-one mentoring, networking, and career development, as well as a yearly stipend.

Thank you, Harbor City Chapter! This will be a valued addition to our mentoring programs at CSU.

Student Recognition and Leadership

Congratulations to the more than Over 70 CSU students who received Excellence Awards at this year’s Student Excellence Awards Ceremony held on campus, on Thursday, April 26. 

Congratulations to the new slate of Student Government officers who were elected to serve during the next academic year. They include: President, Arynne Wilburn; Vice President, Da'Nai Bennett, and Secretary, Essence Bennett. We look forward to your leadership next year!!
58 and Counting! Student Athlete Academic Success

Baseball Team Sets Record !
Congratulations to the CSU Eagles baseball team for setting the all-time Coppin record for MEAC wins in a season. The Eagles lead the North Division of the MEAC with 16 wins and 4 losses. Well done!
Student Highlight 

CSU senior, Destiny Brown, is this year’s winner of the Daily Record’s Circle of Excellence Scholarship Award. The Award was begun in 2003, and this year marks the first time that a student from a Maryland HBCU has been the recipient. Congratulations, Destiny!! Your Coppin family is very proud of you.
