Here at Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County, we pride ourselves on offering our staff opportunities for personal and professional development through monthly workshops, seminars, and program trainings. We also encourage our team to seek outside opportunities for growth such as community networking groups, secondary leadership courses, certifications, and more!

Recently, our Club staff participated in a training series to learn ways to engage in positive interactions with our youth through basic principles for implementing effective programs. By the end of the seven sessions, our Youth Development Professionals will be certified through Spillett Leadership University through Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Our leaders also take part in a monthly workshop that challenges new ways of thinking, introduces leadership techniques, and allows our team to engage in open conversation to better our organization at all levels.

I believe that in order for our Clubs to grow and our youth to succeed, we must first invest in the development of our leadership. Let's Go 5.0!
