Our Enhancements teams are available and ready to help with all of your outdoor decorating needs.  This late fall season brings Thanksgiving along with its requisite pumpkins, gourds, and corn stalks.  And Christmas follows quickly on its heels with lights on the house and strung in the trees.  Wreaths, garlands, greens and bows come out to play as well.

If the thought of decorating the outside of your home is a little overwhelming, we are more than willing to turn your stoop, portico, or other entryways into a welcoming holiday scene!  We can also decorate window boxes and other planters such as whiskey barrels, urns and pots with festive material perfect for the season.  Mailboxes, light posts and other pillars can also be dressed in holiday finery.  If you would like to discuss decorating ideas, give us a call and we will be glad to meet with you!

WINTER DOESN'T MEAN THE
END OF CONSTRUCTION SEASON

Outdoor Hot Tub

Our Design/Build Division is able to work year 'round with our secret weapon.  We can install all types of hardscape work such as patios, sitting walls, outdoor kitchens, pools and spas under a custom built enclosure.  These enclosures are similar to the shrink wrap used for winter storage of boats.  A frame is constructed around the area where the installation is being done and the shrink wrap is attached to it to weatherproof the site.  We are able to bring in portable heaters so that the ground and the mortar don't freeze and the masons are able to work in short sleeves, even in the coldest of conditions outside!

These enclosed work spaces are outfitted with fire extinguishers and carbon monoxide detectors for the safety of our workers and the homeowners.  Over-winter work is ideal if you want your new hardscape ready to go in the spring without disruption to your life and utilization of your outdoor space.  An outdoor kitchen is a great example of winter work to have done.  An outdoor kitchen can be as simple as a  built in grill but can include many other options such as a refrigerator, a sink, an extra side burner or two and even built-in umbrella stands to keep the hot summer sun off you while you cook and enjoy your food and family time outside.  If you are interested in having an over-winter hardscape installation on your property this winter, give us a call and we will have one of our designers meet with you to discuss your plans.

TIPS
Tips

Keep fall leaves out of your koi pond with netting.  Decaying leaves can deplete the oxygen in your pond.

This year, decorate a tree for wildlife. Cover pine cones in peanut butter and roll in bird seed.  Hang them on a tree where you can see the birds eat.

Remove any diseased plant material from the property.  Do not compost them.
