INTRODUCTION
Fall is nearly here and it's truly a beautiful time of year.  The air is turning cool and the leaves will soon be painting the treeline with spectacular hues of red, yellow, and orange. Before we prepare for the cold season, there is still plenty of time to get in some fall projects, such as design projects and getting fall bulbs in the ground for some spring color!
Fall Bulbs Will Give  You
An Early Dose of Spring Color!
Daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths are the most common bulbs with which people are familiar. But the pallet of bulbs is much more expansive than that.

Alliums are a good choice for those with a high deer population, as deer will not eat these relatives of the onion.  They range in height from 6" to 24+" with colors ranging from white, yellow, and pink to purple with the largest and showiest being the giant purple allium.  Some of the smallest are also the earliest to bloom.  These include crocus, snowdrops and scilla.  Grape hyacinths and Spa nish bells are other options that tend to be overlooked.

THERE'S STILL TIME FOR SOME FALL PROJECTS
It's never too late to have a new pool installed!

clean perimeter

You may think with fall rapidly approaching, that it's too late to have that pool you've been thinking about installed, but actually, fall is a great time to have a pool installed!  With the rush of summer over, the gunite installers are not as busy, so there is little or no waiting time for them to come and blow in the product that forms the actual pool.

Hardscaping around the pool such as a patio, outdoor kitchen and walkways can still be done too.  Plants can still be installed and the usually abundant fall rains can help get the new plants established. Another benefit of getting your pool installed now instead of waiting until next year, is that the work is done while the kids are in school. There is less disruption to your outdoor activities, and you will have a brand new pool ready to go in the spring!  So don't give up on that dream of a pool this year.  Give us a call and let us show you what we can do!
ADDITIONAL FALL SERVICES TO BE CONSIDERING

Fall cleanups are just around the corner.  If you don't have one in your contract, now is the time to call in and get on the schedule.  Getting the leaves off your lawn and planting beds can help limit damage from disease and just physical smothering of the grass and other plantings.

Fall pruning, transplanting of shrubs, and dividing and transplanting of perennials can all be scheduled now to help keep your landscape looking its best.
