The tree pollen currently coating our cars notwithstanding, spring has a lovely way of making everything feel new again. The days get a little longer, the azaleas start to show off and, just like that, we find ourselves in a season built on renewal, growth and fresh starts.

Now open in its new home on Koop Drive, just steps from the Tammany Trace and the parish’s Kids Konnection playground, the Parenting Center is settling into a space that feels tailor-made for the families it serves. Brighter, more accessible and thoughtfully designed, it gives our team more room to do what they have done so well since 1987: support parents, nurture children and help families grow together.
It also reflects something bigger. Just as we recently celebrated the opening of The Cardiology Center at St. Tammany Health System – offering a more convenient, coordinated approach to heart care – this move is another example of how we continue to invest in spaces and services that meet people where they are, at every stage of life.
Because whether it is welcoming a new child, raising a family or caring for your ticker, great care begins with being close to home.
