As we enter the last week of the semester, we have several important updates and reminders. Please take a moment to review the following information. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season and a restful break.
Final Exam Schedule: Final exams are just around the corner! Please note the minimum schedule during finals week:
- Tuesday, December 16: 1 & 4 Periods
- Wednesday, December 17: 2 & 5 Periods
- Thursday, December 18: 3 & 6 Periods
- Friday, December 19: 0-6 Periods
School will begin at 8:30 AM each day and will dismiss at 1:15 PM. Please help your student prepare by ensuring they are rested and ready for these important assessments.
Senior Activities: This Friday, seniors will take their Class of 2026 Panoramic Photo. Meet at the south side of the Gym at 8:30 AM. Be on time, make sure you're in dress code and no hats. We will also be having an important senior meeting during this time and hosting our annual senior dodgeball tournament! You don't want to miss it!
Winter Break & Second Semester: Winter break is from December 22- January 12th. Classes will resume for students on Tuesday, January 13th. Students’ 1st period classroom location will be posted on the Student Store Tuesday morning (or they can check Student Q). Schedule changes will be highly limited. Most courses are yearlong, so there is almost no ability to move at the semester anyway! A QR code will be posted at the bottom of the Counseling stairs starting Tuesday at lunch.
As always, we are here to support you. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Warmest regards,
John Richmond, Ed.D.
Principal, Summit High
