Spring Musical: The theatre department's spring musical, Something Rotten, is March 6, 7, 13, 14 at 6 PM in the MPR. Come support our awesome SkyHawk performers!


Father Daughter Dinner: Our annual Father-Daughter dinner is on March 13th from 6PM-8PM in the gym. The price with ASB is $40, and without ASB $50. All ASB packages include the Father-Daughter Dinner. The last day to buy tickets is March 6.


Senior Parents!!!! March 2nd Deadline: Please make sure your FAFSA/CADAA (Financial Aid application) is done and submitted by March 2, 2026!! Please see your Counselor if you have questions.

Summit Scholarship Application due March 3!  HOW TO APPLY: Pick up a paper application from the Counseling Office with Victoria Vazquez. All applicants have to submit the online version of the application in addition to the paper version of the application.


Spring Break: Save the Date! Spring Break is from March 23rd to the 27th.

Choir Auditions: Do you like to sing?? Come audition for our Award Winning Madrigal Choir! Auditions will be held after school on March 4th and 5th in room H104. Please prepare a minute clip of a song that you know! Hope to see you there!


Spring Festival: Attention clubs! Get ready -Spring Festival is on April 1st! If your club wants to sell at the event, make sure you turn in your paperwork no later than March 17th before 3rd period. No late forms will be accepted. See the bookkeeper for more details. 


FUSD Student Board Member Apps: The Fontana Unified Board of Education is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 Student Board Member position. This is a unique opportunity for a student leader to represent all FUSD students and share their voice directly with the Board. If you are interested in leadership and advocacy, we encourage you to apply.

Students must complete their application packet in blue or black ink and submit it to Dr. Richmond by Friday, March 20, 2026.


Parking: All cars in both parking lots must display Summit parking permits. Please see ASB Bookkeeper, Magaly for application. Permits are available at no cost. No student parking in the SOUTH PARKING LOT. The student parking lot is open until 2nd period for students with no first period. Warning stickers and citations will be issued soon in both parking lots.


Yearbook: Last call to pre-order the yearbook! The price is $100 with ASB and $120 without ASB. 

 

ASB Packages: ASB Package payments were due in November. If you still owe money on your package, please pay in full by February 13th. 

 

Prom: Prom tickets are on sale now for $150 with ASB and $170 without ASB, with prices valid until January 30th. After January 30th, prices will increase by $10. The final day to purchase tickets is March 20th. 


Prom Fashion Show: We will host our Prom Fashion Show during both lunches in the MPR on March 20th. You don't want to miss it!


SOAR Saturday School: Our next Saturday School is March 14th. Please plan on attending if you have one or more all-day absences this or last semester. Bring books, your computer, and any pending work you may have to complete in class during this day. Breakfast will be served from 7:30am – 7:45pm in G-109. Saturday school starts at 7:45am and ends at 12:00pm. Be on time to get credit! If you don’t know where to go report to G-109 to be directed to a classroom.

Diplomas: Please check the diploma list located in the ASB Bookkeeper’s Office, in the Records Office or in some of the Senior English classes, or Economics/American Government classes, to make sure that your name is spelled accurately. If there is a problem, please fill out a Change of Name Form located in the Records Office. This must be done prior to ordering the diplomas. ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGES on the diplomas after the order has been placed on 3/6/26. Please be advised that this is a tentative list of graduates and is subject to change at any time.


Local Scholarship Application: Calling all seniors! The opportunity to apply for our Local Scholarship Program is here! Applications are available starting, January 20th. The deadline to submit applications is Tuesday, March 3rd at 3:00 PM — NO EXCEPTIONS. Stop by the Counseling Office and see Ms. Victoria to pick up an application. Good luck to all applicants! 


Senior Clothing: We’ve got a few senior T-shirts and hoodies left, and they’re calling your name! The shirts are $20, and hoodies are $45. These won’t last long—once they’re gone, they’re gone!


Grad Nite: The last day to buy tickets for GradNite is April 3rd. The price is $140 with ASB and $160 without ASB.

  • Chaffey College Summer 2026: registration opens on March 16. Please register early to reserve your spot. 


  • Registration for 2026/2027 courses have started! You will be meeting with your Counselor soon. Please be ready with your desired Elective/CTE/AP course lists. If you plan on taking AP or Honors courses next year, you will need an AP Policy and Commitment form signed by student and parent; please stop by the Counseling office for a copy.


  • Sophomores & Juniors: If you were absent during your registration: Counselors are conducting make-ups during Wednesdays. If you receive a summons please come up to see them so you can provide your elective choices


  • Chaffey Dual Enrollment Summer Courses are Available: See attached flyer with QR code to view summer courses.

  • Reminder: Summit High School is a closed campus. During school hours, visitors must report to the front office with proper identification. Visitors will be asked to wear visitor’s badge. All visitors will be escorted to their reporting location. Also, we do not allow any food deliveries during the school day directly from parents or from outside vendors such as Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc.
