  • We are thrilled to announce and extend our heartfelt congratulations to two exceptional members of our Summit family: Mr. Ken Hoong, who has been selected as our Teacher of the Year, and Ms. Magaly Leon, our Classified Employee of the Year.


  • We would like to invite you to join us for the upcoming School Site Council meeting, which will be held this Thursday at 3:40 PM via Microsoft Teams. If you would like to attend the meeting, please contact Ms. Maria at extension 15135 to receive the Microsoft Teams meeting link.


  • We are thrilled to announce that our Drama Department's highly anticipated spring musical, "Into the Woods," is this Friday and Saturday at 6:30 PM at the Steelworker's Auditorium. We invite you to join us for an evening of entertainment and support our dedicated students as they showcase their talents on stage. Tickets will be available at the door.


  • We are hosting our Saturday Opportunity for Attendance Recovery (SOAR) this Saturday, March 9th from 7:45 AM to 12:10 for students who have have at least one full day absence. Students are to report to Room G-101 in the morning and will be directed to a classroom.


  • All students are welcome to join us for Meet Your Army Day on Tuesday, March 12th, at AB Miller from 9:00-11:00am. If you're interested in exploring Army career pathways, make sure to sign up with Mr. Preciado!


  • Please join us for our A.A.P.A.C meeting next Thursday at 6pm in room E105. All are welcome!


  • Our next ELAC meeting is scheduled for this Friday at 11:15am in room E105. Please join us!


  • Attention parents of the class of 2024! Please join us for a Senior Parent Meeting on Thursday, March 14th at 6pm in the MPR. We look forward to seeing you there!


  • Spring Break is just around the corner! From March 18th to March 22nd, students and families will have the opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy some well-deserved time off. Whether you plan to embark on exciting adventures or simply unwind with loved ones, we wish you a fantastic week filled with joy, relaxation, and memorable moments.

  • Yearbook pre-orders end soon! The price with ASB is $90 and without ASB $100. Last year we sold out, don't miss out.


  • All district issued hotspots are to be returned to the library no later than, March 8th. Any students that do not return their hotspot will be fined accordingly. 


  • Get ready for an enchanting evening for Junior Senior Prom on April 27th. The price for prom with ASB is $150, without ASB $160, and guests are $170.  


  • The student store is now open daily during both lunches. Stop by during your lunch to see all our new merchandise.

Reminder, we no longer take cash at the entrance. You can still pay cash for our football, volleyball, and basketball games if you buy your tickets at the Bookkeeper's window up to the end of 2nd lunch on the day of the game, but no cash will be taken at the entrance. QR codes will be posted at the entrances so that you may purchase tickets with a credit or debit card. You can also buy tickets in advance online using the link on our Athletics website, www.fusd.net/summitathletics. If you have an ASB card, you get in for FREE!

Cash for College Workshops! Workshops will be held every Wednesday 6th period and after school 1:15-3:15 through March 27th. This is for Seniors who have not started their financial aid application or need help. If student show up, log in, fill out the survey and complete/submit their application by April 2, they will be entered into a drawing for a scholarship given by the California Student Aid Commission. AP Precalculus: If you have successfully completed IM3, you are ready for AP Precalculus! This could be a good introductory AP course that gets you ready for college. If you have questions, see Ms. Hosch in F105.


JUNIORS! Do you want to earn FREE COLLEGE CREDIT next year in high school? Consider signing up for College Math 25. This course is both CSU and UC transferrable and it will satisfy your math requirement in college, so you may never have to take a math class again. Ask your counselors about the details for College Math 25.(
