President's Edition & Members' Promotions

From the President's Desk...

It’s Great to Belong!

I hope everyone got to enjoy the Labor Day holiday. After a few bumpy days with Idalia, the weekend weather was certainly a cause to celebrate!

With September now upon us, we mark the end of another Chamber program year. And we’re now in high gear planning for a new one that will provide even greater value for your investment with us.

On September 28, at our 70th Annual Meeting & Awards Breakfast, we will be reviewing our most recent successes and revealing our future course.  I hope you will join us! How we move forward will rely on the continued support of you, our members, be it through direct participation and/or financial investment. You are the Chamber!

My special thanks to all those who gave of their time and energy this program year, most notably our Chairman, Jake Prokop of Pinellas Technical College. He championed our continuing efforts in business development, membership retention and education programming.  We made gains in these areas and many others through Jake’s leadership.

As you consider ways to get the most from your Chamber investment, look at serving on a Chamber committee. There’s one for every interest, and you get to meet some terrific people. Just give me a call and we can talk about what would be best for you.

All the best for a happy and prosperous month,

        Tom Morrissette
