From the Principal's Desk
October 18, 2017
As we draw close to the end of the 1st quarter, I share with you my thoughts of what I believe makes for a successful school year. The Key: parents, teachers, administrators and students all working together. This happens when...
Bring your children to church regularly. talk about faith.
Provide children with the necessary, acceptable school supplies, uniform, snack and lunch.
Are present at parent-teacher conference, meetings, sporting events, school plays, etc.
Are accountable for your child's whereabouts at all times.
Support school policies, classroom rules and teachers' decisions.
Help with, but do not do, homework.
Provide up-to-date contact information so they may be reached at all times.
Contact the teacher when there is a concern or problem.
Quality instruction, infusing Catholic values and Christ's teachings.
Order and discipline in the classroom.
Communication on your child's progress.
Presence at significant school/parish activities.
Contact in case of a problem.
Common Core math and language arts curriculums, use Next Generation Science Standards, apply differentiation and create a blended learning environment.
A learning environment that is safe and promotes student success.
Campus is safe and secure.
Notifications occur immediately in case of an emergency.
A comprehensive curriculum for all children centered on our Catholic faith, traditions and beliefs.
Qualified classroom teachers and staff.
An environment where all are made to feel welcome.
