Dear Community,
Let us pray!
O God of peace and mercy,
hold close the people of Annunciation in their grief.
Surround the children, families, teachers, and parishioners with your tender love.
Strengthen the hands of first responders and caregivers,
and stir the hearts of leaders to pursue justice and peace.
Deliver us from the cycle of violence,
and guide us into the way of compassion,
that we may live as your Body in the world—
healers, reconcilers, and makers of peace.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
O God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us
through Jesus your Son: Look with compassion on the whole
human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which
infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us;
unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and
confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in
your good time, all nations and races may serve you in
harmony around your heavenly throne; through Jesus Christ
our Lord.
Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, you said to your apostles, 'Peace I give to you; my own peace I leave with you': Regard not our sins, but the faith of your Church, and give to us the peace and unity of that heavenly city, where with the Father and the Holy Spirit you live and reign, now and for ever.
Amen.
In God’s Peace !
