Dear St. Michael's Parish:

The Vestry met on Thursday, May 9 and had an informative and extensive meeting. As we embark on the journey of replacing our amazing Rector, we commit to providing you with regular updates on our progress.

This past week the Vestry met with Canon Richard Norman from the Diocese. Canon Norman spent more than 2 hours with the Vestry. During this time, he provided an overview of the process of selecting a Priest during the interim period and a new Rector, how we might best go about selecting a Search Committee, the Diocese' commitment to be with us and assist us through the journey and other important steps / milestones.

We are happy to inform you that any parish member may submit an application regarding their interest to be a member of the Search Committee. This application will be available to all parishioners in the summer Red Door and on the table in the gallery over the next few weeks.

As we previously mentioned, we plan to openly share and discuss as many details as possible with you.

We are confident and hope you are too, that the Holy Spirit will watch over our church and guide us all to make the right selection for St. Michael’s.

God Bless,

The Vestry
