Dear Parents and Friends,
As we continue to reel from the news in Israel, we also come together as a community to support each other and to support our brethren in Israel. This evening, there are two communal gatherings of support and we encourage you to join one or the other if possible.
The Jewish Federation is having a solidarity event tonight at 7 p.m. at Congregation Shaarey Zedek. To attend this event, you must RSVP HERE.
The Detroit Vaad ha-Rabonim is organizing a community-wide Tehilim gathering tonight at 8 p.m. at the YBY Beis Midrash at 15751 W. Lincoln Rd. for men and women.
Additionally - if you know of any Farber alumni who are currently serving in the IDF as active soldiers or reservists, please let us know their names so that we can keep them in our tefilot (rachel.lopatin@farberhds.org or josh.levisohn@farberhds.org).
If you have specific concerns about your own children in school tomorrow, please let our social workers know so that they will have a heads up and can check on them. Elana Miodownik (elana.miodownik@farberhds.org) and Elissa Sternberg (elissa.sternberg@farberhds.org).
We will communicate later today about other programming or initiatives as we prepare for our students coming back to school tomorrow.
שאלו שלום ירושלים ישליו אוהביך
