Happy April – I hope this finds you well. What a time this is – just think of all the stories that will be told about this time of history in the United States.
The past three Sundays, I have done the normal Sunday morning routine – get up, make coffee, get the paper, cook breakfast and go to church. Except church is online!
One of my other Sunday morning routines is listening to
The Schmooze,
a local radio show featuring a Jewish Rabbi who leads the Chabad Center at the University of Kansas. I always find his show interesting and thought provoking. However, the past three Sundays, the show has been the same one. When I figured out this Sunday that this was the same show, third time (thinking about
Groundhog Day)
, I started to listen to something else on the radio. However, I hesitated and thought, let’s listen more closely to
The Schmooze
.
I listened and as the Rabbi talked, he started talking about looking at these times with curiosity, not uncertainty. I started listening further and thinking about that term, curiosity and how it applies to what is happening the commercial truck industry today.
