As always, whatever you are doing in this moment, I pray that you are at peace knowing that your existence and place in this world is relevant. You are the missing piece.
In case you are new to my emails, or you just have been ignoring them ( it's cool I get it LOL),
from the heart
is my diary moment. It's when I share with you something I would normally write in my journal/diary.
For instance, in this moment I am feeling a bit uncertain and confused about what direction I should be going in. Do I begin with this? Or, begin with that? Do I let go of this, or hold on to it?
I have a tendency to over think, and the problem with that is...YOU ARE ALWAYS THINKING!!! Sometimes, I just want to say to myself, 'Get over it already! Gee whiz.
When I find myself caught up in a whirlwind of thoughts I take a moment to withdraw from everything.
I turn off my mind,
shut down all the expectations I feel bombard by
, including any from my family, and I
What does re-centering look like?
It's me alone with God! Quieting my soul in search of what brings me the most peace. I begin by turning my satellite towards the goodness and faithfulness of our Heavenly Father! I begin to
connect to His love for me.
connect to His word
where I am reminded of 1Cor 14:33.
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. Lastly, I
connect with the recesses of my heart.
What am I truly sensing to do deep within?
What I come up with varies from cleaning up my house, to calling a particular person, to writing, or simply leave the house. I know those all sound super deep and revelatory. NOT! But, perhaps that is why it is said, "It's the little foxes that spoil the vine." You can look that saying up for yourself.
Sometimes, the problem is that our environment is out of order and in need of cleaning, at times the answer is on the other side of a phone call. Or, there are times when you just need to get out and connect with strangers even if it is via a smile.
In this moment, right now? My answer was to write to you! To share my heart, and I must say, I feel much better. See how that works? While I may have helped you, you also helped me. I think we refer to that as, In HERS is YOURS!
Therefore, the next time you find yourself bombarded, pause the clock, stop everything, and get before God for clarity and direction.
Until next time I will be praying yours and I hope you are praying mine. Have a great week!
Your sis in Christ,
