Literacy Volunteers to Host Virtual Trivia Nights
Have you ever watched Jeopardy and thought your knowledge could compete with that of the world's best quiz masters? Now is your chance to test your trivia skills and enjoy a fun evening - all while supporting a great cause.

Join us for a series of Virtual Trivia Nights to support Literacy Volunteers. These events will be held via Zoom on Thursday, February 18 at 7 p.m. and Wednesday, March 10 at 7 p.m. Registration costs $25 to participate in one event, and $40 for both.
Free Drive-Through COVID-19 Tests Now Offered in Stamford

To help identify and contain the spread of COVID-19, Family Centers Health Care now offers FREE drive-through COVID-19 tests at the 60 Palmer's Hill Road location in Stamford.

Testing takes place every Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Appointments are not needed, and tests are administered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Free COVID-19 tests are also offered each Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. and Wednesday from 9-10:30 a.m. at our health center located at 111 Wilbur Peck Court in Greenwich.


Stamford CARES Receives FCCF Donor Advised Grant

Fairfield County's Community Foundation (FCCF) recently awarded Stamford CARES with a $25,000 grant to support the program's medical case management services provided to local residents living with HIV/AIDS.

The gift was allocated through an anonymous Donor Advised Fund managed by FCCF. Since 2007, this particular Donor Advised Fund has donated $140,000 to Stamford CARES.

FCCF's Donor Advised Fund program oversees all administrative aspects of philanthropy so that individual, family and corporate donors can focus on supporting the causes that matter most to them.
2021 Benefit Rescheduled for September 18

Planning is underway for our 2021 Benefit! Please save the date and plan to join us on Saturday, September 18.

Originally scheduled in June, the benefit has been moved to September to better accommodate a safe, in-person event.

Theme, location and sponsorship information will be released very soon.

Family Centers' 2021 Benefit is co-chaired by Kate Clark, Bri Hart, Susannah Heyworth, Ashley Reid and Carter Simonds.

Family Centers Partners with SPEF, Domus for Here-to-Help

Family Centers is working in collaboration with the Stamford Public Education Foundation (SPEF) and Domus on a new parent engagement program serving Stamford families.

Called Here-to-Help, this collective impact program helps families access the community resources and information needed to ensure that students succeed during the current distance learning environment.

With support from Stamford Public Schools, the program works to overcome educational barriers associated with technology, transportation, translation, childcare and health services.
