Annual Benefit Brings Tuscan Style to Greenwich
Friday, June 7 was a night of romance and elegance, as Family Centers captured the essence of the Italian Countryside for its Under the Tuscan Sun benefit. From the farm-style tables to the hand-pulled mozzarella station to the rows of cypress trees, co-chairs Lisa Errico , Patti Fast , Julie Graham , Elizabeth Lake and Amanda Lynch transformed the Greenwich home of Brooks and Tom Melly into an authentic Tuscan villa.
Employees Honored for Customer Service Excellence

For consistently embodying Family Centers’ core values and providing exceptional service to all customers, Carolina Ahumada , Jennifer Trinidad , Verkisha Richardson , Jean Lorius and Shawnece Simmons were named “Customer Service Ambassadors”.

The five employees were recognized for their outstanding service at Family Centers' agency-wide Town Hall Meeting.
F amily Centers Earns 4-Star Rating from Charity Navigator

For the twelfth time, Charity Navigator , the largest independent evaluator of U.S. charities, awarded Family Centers with its 4-star rating for outstanding fiscal management.
The 4-star designation is Charity Navigator’s highest honor, and indicates Family Centers adheres to best practices within the nonprofit sector and executes its mission in a financially efficient way. 
Literacy Volunteers Recognizes Student Achievement and Outstanding Tutors

The Literacy Volunteers team celebrated the success of its students and honored the dedication of its tutors during the program's annual Recognition Night on June 24.

During the event, several students spoke and shared how Literacy Volunteers' English-language and literacy instruction has transformed their lives. Many also read selections of their original writings.

Awards were presented to mark students’ accomplishments in writing, leadership and work-readiness. Several volunteer tutors were also honored for their service.
Register Your Child for the 2019-2020 School Year

 Family Centers' Early Education program is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year beginning in early September.

Openings are available at all four of our nationally-accredited early education sites located in central Greenwich. Classes are offered for children ages six-weeks through five years.

Scholarships are also offered to families who qualify.
