Q: Please describe your very first coming into awareness about Feng Shui.

A: I read a magazine article about a hot air balloon company in San Diego that had tons of business but was losing money. The story told about how their feng shui consultant came in and pointed out that there was a roof leak over the bathroom which was in the Wealth gua, as well as a dripping faucet and a running toilet. The consultant told them they were not paying attention to details and recommended they call someone to fix the roof and plumbing. They did, and when the time came to write the repair person, their office manager was out to lunch, so they had to sit down and write the check themselves. When they did, they saw that she had been skimming money out of their bank account for years. My thoughts were: 1) What is feng shui? and 2) What is a Wealth gua? This was so long ago there was no internet. I had a hard time tracking down books about feng shui back then, but I was determined.
