Frostkiss Hellebore
Pre-Order
The most beautiful hellebores for year-round interest
The world of hellebores doesn't stand still and never ceases to amaze. New complex and rare hybrids are offering forms for the garden that hellebore enthusiasts only dreamed about just a few years ago. These hellebores from the Frostkiss Series are at the cutting edge of hellebores and destined to become garden classics. They are the most beautiful hellebores for year-round interest. We also include 'Rosemary' as she is another of the best of these next generation hellebores.
Choose from 10 different cultivars with fantastic flowers and foliage plus Rosemary, another cutting edge hybrid. They'll be ready for pick-up on opening weekend or for shipping in March or April once the weather warms up in your area.
The new leaves of 'Anna's Red' are centred with deep red to glowing red. As they age the leaves turn to dark green with mint green veins. Other dark-flowered cultivars will have similar colouration.
The new leaves of 'Penny's Pink' are centred with beautiful mid pink. 'Pippa's Purple' leaves are very similar. As they age the leaves turn to dark green with mint green veins. The other pink-flowered cultivars also look like this.
The new leaves of 'Molly's White' are centred with icy silver white. As they age the leaves turn to dark green with mint green veins.

Winter Jewels Hellebore
Pre-Order
Choose from 18 Different Strains!
The Winter Jewels hellebores are the best available in North America. They come in double and single strains with bold, rich colours, large, symmetrical flowers, and great vigour. These strains also improve every year due to the diligent breeding of Hellebore Queen Marietta O’Byrne. Because they are seed strains every plant is unique and collectible. The exact colour of each plant will be close to the pictures but not always exact, though always beautiful.
These Lenten roses bloom from February through April. No garden is complete without hellebores and this special series is sure to add precious colour to your late winter and early spring garden. This year we are offering starter size and blooming size plants. About 10-20% of starter size plants will bloom in 2020 with most beginning in 2021 and sometimes a few holding out until 2022. Blooming size plants are generally 1-2 years older than starter size plants and come in bloom. However, this is not a sure thing since hellebores don't love being grown in pots and sometimes won't bloom until they are planted in the ground. You can shop a la carte to get your exact colours or save with a few special offers:
SAVE 15% ON COLLECTIONS!
Fill your world with the beauty of hellebores by getting yourself a collection in a full range of colours.
GET A FREE HELLEBORE!
Buy any 5 starter size hellebores and we'll give you a 6th one of our choice for free! We will choose for you a colour that compliments your selection based on our supplies.
Pick-Up or Shipping: Plants will be available for pick-up at the Hellebore Hurrah! February 28th-March 1st or any day after that weekend. We can also ship your plants anywhere in Canada. We will ship between early March and early April depending on the weather conditions in your area. We cannot hold plants for shipping beyond early April and you may need to protect your plants for a while after you've received them before you can plant them outside.

The Clematis Conundrum 2020
So many Clematis and Passionflowers, so little time! And space!
Choose from 90 different Clematis and 8 different passionflower!
No garden or patio is complete without the Queen of the Vines. But how do you select between the best cultivars? How do you find the one clematis you’ve been looking for for years? Or maybe you want to discover a cultivar you never knew you needed until now! It can be a real CONUNDRUM! And then we have amazing hardy (and non-hardy) passionflowers. That’s a whole new dilemma!
The other problem is that few nurseries could ever carry more than a fraction of the hundreds of types of Clematis at any one time. At Phoenix Perennials we have created the Clematis Conundrum Pre-Order to bring together a huge selection of the best and most unique Clematis available for pick-up at the nursery or shipping in late April 2020! Now you can find that perfect clematis (or passionflower) all in one place and with ease!
Peruse our selection below, make notes on which plants you’d like and, when you’re ready, click on the link to place your order. You might want to right click the link and open the order page in a new window so you can view this image page and the order page side by side. Have fun!

David Austin Rose Pre-Order for Spring 2020
Welcome to the World of David Austin Roses!
We are excited to offer a new Pre-Order of 20 different cultivars of David Austin roses for pick-up or shipping in early spring 2020.
David Austin roses are some of the most renowned and beloved roses in the world. Since the 1950s David Austin has been working to combine the beauty and romance of old roses with the performance of modern roses. More specifically his goal has been to bring together the flower forms and fragrance of old roses with the wider colour range and repeat-flowering of modern roses.
You need only look at the photographs and to grow your first David Austin rose to understand that these English roses are unique in the rose world. They will quickly grow into magnificent shrubs and climbers that will transform your garden with their old world charm, fragrance, and performance.
Characteristics of David Austin Roses:
- Form: David Austin roses tend to grow as shapely shrubs with a bushy mounding or arching growth habit. The climbers are strong and vigorous usually with flowering down to the base.
- Flowers: A wide range of colours with unique multi-petaled blooms.
- Fragrance: Renowned for their strong and diverse fragrances including old rose, tea, myrrh, fruity, and musk.
- Repeat-flowering: Cultivars will repeat flower providing a long season of interest.
- Design Potential: Highly versatile for different garden styles and uses including mixed flower beds, traditional rose borders, fragrant hedges, large pots and containers, for the cutting garden, and for large landscape plantings.
- Health: Bred for vigour and garden performance with excellent disease resistance. Every cultivar is trialled under rigorous conditions for eight years before being introduced to the gardening public.

These (non-grafted) varieties have been bred for beautiful foliage and delicious sweet potatoes perfect for baking or sweet potato fries. Few people realize that the annual potato vine, usually with gold, burgundy or purple black foliage used in containers and hanging baskets, is actually an ornamental sweet potato, Ipomoea. Now breeders have brought together ornamental foliage and delicious tubering genetics with great production of delicious sweet potatoes. Your edible containers and garden will be more beautiful and productive than ever! Choose from 3 varieties.
