Event Coordinator: Great Opportunity for Entry Level

Come join the FUNdale team. Here at Fudale Events we plan some of the most unique Corporate Event programs where creativity has no end for what our clients are looking for. Here you will be responsible for assisting the operations and sales team in coordinating transportation, events, activities and tours, staffing, site inspections amongst other duties that a Destination Management Company/Special Event Production Company handles. 

The Event Coordinator will assist the office and team with all needs of organizing the group binders, printing of materials and any other necessary duties that may be needed to create successful program operations. The Event Coordinator will work closely with Event Managers to facilitate program operations. This is the perfect opportunity for an entry level person with a few years of hospitality experience who is ready to get into the event planning world and take this position and make it their own. You will learn all aspects from a leader in the Event Management field in Las Vegas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensure 100% customer satisfaction for programs and duties assigned
§ Will work in team environments with Event Managers, Creative Services and Sales.
§ Assist with Site Inspections, Program Operations and any other functions as needed
§ Assist with proposals, vendor orders, detailed itineraries, manifests, staff bookings as needed as well as other necessary tasks to perform successful event operations.
§ Learn the necessary components to be a successful manager, including knowledge of vendor selections, restaurants, décor, and activities/tours.
§ Determine/select client amenities.
§ Participate in social activities in-side and out of normal business hours to further educate yourself on the hospitality trade, including but not limited to, Las Vegas Hospitality Association Events, Tradeshows. Networking is key to the successful growth of Fudale.
§ Learn the necessary components of internal documents within Fudale and further assist in streamlining information where necessary. 
§ Attend and assist with on-site activities/tours, evening events, airport, etc. to learn the overall operating system of the company.
§ Ensure proper supplies, equipment and inventory are managed within the office.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1.      College Degree Preferred and/or DMC Experience/Hospitality Certification
2.      1-2-Years Related Hospitality Experience
3.      All relevant uses of computer operation, word/excel/power point—can you get creative!
4.      Professional Dress and Appearance
5.      Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
6.      Strong Editing and Writing Skills
7.      Must be able to work flexible hours. The volume of business will dictate hours worked.  This is not always a 9:00am-5:00pm position

COMPENSATION:
  • Salaried Position
  • 80% Paid Coverage of Health and Dental starting the first day after a full two months have been completed, not to exceed (90) days.
  • Two Weeks of Personal Leave Time (PTO) to be used for vacation/sick days will begin the first of the following month after completion of 90-days of calendar month, on an accrual basis.
