Tomas Valdes (MBA'21)

Research - United Arab Emirates

From Tomas Valdes (MBA'21) - "Tomas researched the UAE's crisis management when confronted with the financial crisis and COVID-19 pandemic. He investigated how the national leadership navigated the country through times of stress and uncovered key insights and lessons learned from the country's experience managing crises."

Application Suggestion:

"Don't be shy about cold-emailing institutions . . . to provide you with letters of affiliation. Even though you may not have contacts at the institutions in which you're interested, they likely have heard of the Fulbright Program and will be happy to chat."
