Emily X. Ren (NHS'21) is a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant. "I help teach and lead speaking-centered English classes and clubs at Margulan University, the region’s acclaimed pedagogical university. I also volunteer at the local American Corner and MakerSpace, an English language and STEM resource center sponsored by the US Embassy, alongside a group of dedicated volunteers."

Application Suggestion: "Take full advantage of the [Center for Research & Fellowships] when writing your essays! Also, do your research and choose a host country that ignites an earnest and genuine desire to learn about the country and its people - that passion will show through in your essays."
