Opportunity through Education

Kiwimbi welcomed two American Fulbright fellows to Amagoro this month - Mr. Dan Cheung and Ms. Meredith Whye.

They will be based at Kiwimbi through December and will help lead several reading and speaking camp activities  as the Fulbright English Teaching Assistants.
Mr. Dan Cheung graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in English degree with a focus in fictional writing from Allegheny College. Alongside his studies, he ran cross country and track and enjoys reading, writing, bike riding, and playing sports.

Ms. Meredith Whye has her Master of Arts degree in Education and has been teaching for over three years. Just before becoming a Fulbright ETA at Kiwimbi, she was a teacher for Teach with America.
Jennifer made it to the top! She climbed 19,340 feet to the tip of Africa's highest mountain in support of Kiwimbi!
