Charter Member Recruitment Progress

I'm pleased to report that the number Fulcrum Charter Members now exceeds 50.

This is a major achievement against the goal of recruiting 200+ Charter Members by the end of June. There have been 121 informational meetings with extraordinary nonprofit leaders from across the country leading to an equal number of invitations. There are another 15 meetings on calendar.

To reach the Charter Member goal, I'd like to ask for your support. Will you please consider a handful of nonprofit leaders you can connect me to for the purposes of recruiting them as Charter Members? These individuals will receive the same benefits as other Charter Members.

A Plug for Charter Member Dr. Stefanie K. Johnson's Book

Congratulations to Fulcrum Charter Member Dr. Stefanie K. Johnson, PhD and her book, Inclusify, for being selected by The Society for Diversity as this month's "must-read".

The book takes a deep dive into building great teams through inclusion and provides a roadmap to creating a thriving team environment where everyone feels like they can bring heir whole selves to the table.

Charter Member Virtual "Mixer" Next Friday, May 10 at 10AM PT

Please join our first-ever Fulcrum Charter Member "mixer" next Friday, May 10 at 10AM PT. This will be a 30-minute virtual gathering to hear remarks from Fulcrum Founder and CEO Chris Looney and to introduce many Charter Members to each other for the very first time. A calendar invite will be sent out later today with the Zoom (also found below). Please join if your schedule permits. We'd love to see you. I promise it will be a fun-filled and memorable part of your day.

Congratulations to Charter Member Jessica Hubbard on a Recent Big Gift

Jessica Hubbard, Chief Executive Officer of Casa Youth Shelter, received welcome news this week that the organization's $4 million request to Cal Optima for support of campus expansion plans was approved. Congratulations to Jessica and the entire Casa Youth Shelter organization on the news of receiving this transformational gift. What is a Fulcrum 20 Group?

Fulcrum 20 Groups are the small, peer groups to which each member will be assigned. All groups will have no more than 20 members. Each group be carefully constructed to bring together true peers - individuals with similar roles, titles, responsibilities, and organization sizes. Importantly, Fulcrum 20 groups will reach across the nation and across sectors. Additionally, each Fulcrum 20 group will be led by a professional facilitator, meet monthly, and provide opportunities for learning, sharing, and engagement. The current plan is for Fulcrum 20 groups to meet monthly for 90 minutes 9 times per year virtually with 3 opportunities for Fulcrum 20 groups to meet in person.

Here are a few key next steps and reminders for Charter Members.

Register and apply if you have not yet completed that step. Visit www.fulcrumleader.com/register/. You will be asked to set up your account and complete the application. As a Charter Member, you do not need to complete the references section. We appreciate the answers to the other questions as we will use that information to identify proper Core Group placement.
Format your own personal profile page with the images and the biographical information you desire to share. This step can be completed after you register/apply.
Follow Fulcrum Nonprofit Leadership on LinkedIn. The more followers we can gain, the easier it will be to reach the broader nonprofit world with our thought leadership.

Member agreements and will be sent in May. Within that process you will have the opportunity to elect to receive equity in Fulcrum or a lifetime of free membership.
