Full Circle
Circle Center's Weekly Update
"Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here together to get
through this thing called life"
-Prince
Welcome to Full Circle, our weekly  newsletter designed to keep you in the know! Each week we’ll run down our achievements, challenges and moments of gratitude encountered in the course of a week. If you are feeling anything like we are these days then you know A LOT can happen in a week . We promise to focus on the positive but we also promise not to shy away from sharing our challenges too.  We encourage you to share yours with us as well!  After all, you are our dearest friends and if you can’t share everything with your friends, well then you aren’t living Full Circle .
A New Computer!
During one of our weekly calls to caregivers and participant families, one of our caregivers shared that their computer had recently crashed making them unable to access our online programs and resources. So we called IT4causes, a local technology non-profit, and we were able to purchase a discounted laptop for them to use. The cost of our purchase is a donation that IT4causes will put towards another non-profit struggling through this crisis. We delivered the computer, and as you can see, everyone is excited to use it!
Donuts!
Isn't there a saying that Donuts make the world go 'round? No, well there should be!
While our Center has suspended on-site services, staff have gathered at our offices (using proper safety guidelines and protocols of course) to work on our on-line programming and to continue to plan for the future. Last week - one of our Board members figured we would need a pick-me-up, and surprised us with (safely procured) fresh, hot donuts! Thank you Norah, and to all of our board members who have continued their dedication to Circle Center, our staff and our mission!
New Online Resources!
Our staff and students are working hard each week to translate our programming to a virtual environment. We have tools and resources for our participants and our caregivers, and programs and activities across the spectrum of services we offer on-site. A new activity this week is an inter-generational opportunity that gets you in the kitchen. Get baking with Director of Nursing, Casey Warren's, children and try your hand at their pound cake recipe!

Moving our Mission Forward
Your support is more important than ever. As this time apart continues to show us just how essential our community based program is to the lives of the people that we serve and to our community as a whole, we are also seeing the impact that a prolonged suspension of services means to us financially.
