We've always been focused on Programs, as they are one of the signature tenets of Circle Center. Our Programs have been designed over time to meet the specific needs, interests and challenges of our participants.
So the pandemic certainly presented an interesting situation: how do we pivot our in-person specialized and personalized programming to a virtual environment?
Our program team, led by Mary Branzelle, stepped up to the challenge. Translating as many of our programs - from art therapy, to reminisce, to cognitive programming - as possible to be distributed and experienced virtually - was no small feat. As we progressed, we listened to feedback and adjusted our offerings along the way - like adding Guided Options of our programs - to deliver as much of the personal touch as possible.
As we enter Phase 1 of our reopening this week, with a much smaller participant census, we faced yet another programming challenge. How do we adapt our programs to be enjoyed by participants who must remain physically separated? This will be part of our ongoing learning process as we enter the early days of Phase 1. While we continue to adjust our programs to adhere to the new health and safety guidelines, it is with a singular focus and goal in mind: to best meet the needs of our participants, both here in the Center and virtually.
So join us in sending a HUGE Thank You to the tireless efforts of Mary Branzelle and her unwavering dedication to maintaining the level of programming that has always been unique and representative of Circle Center.
