On December 8 from 11 to 1, the Napa Valley Museum Yountville says THANK YOU to our Napa Valley community with a FREE holiday event!

Exhibition curator and Carolwood Pacific Historical Society President Emeritus Michael Campbel l, a Disney trains expert, will conduct a tour through the exhibition, including a demonstration of a working steam train! Experts from the Napa Valley Model Railroad Historical Society will be on hand to demonstrate our original Napa Valley model train, created in partnership with the Napa Valley Wine Train . Enjoy cider, hot cocoa and cookies, plus a pop-up appearance by our own mischievous " Elfie ." Part of the Holidays in Yountville Celebration.

With your support in 2019, the Napa Valley Museum Yountville will make much needed improvements to our building, reimagine our History Gallery to pay tribute to our neighboring Veterans, develop new family-friendly and educational activities, and expand our permanent collection. With your help, we will continue to provide the exceptional exhibitions and programs you deserve, including world-class original exhibitions like Picasso and the Masters of 20th Century Printmaking , showcases of works by Napa Valley artists like Laurie Shelton's Cows , special history exhibitions and student shows, as well as popular programs like The Kindness Celebration and Top Drink. Plus whisky, sake and wine tastings - because this is the Napa Valley after all.

This family-friendly exhibition, organized with The Walt Disney Family Museum, explores the influence that railroad trains had on Walt Disney's life and work. The exhibition includes a wide variety of artifacts, firsthand accounts, archival videos, images of Walt and his trains, and one-of-a kind items, including Walt Disney's own Carolwood gondola railroad car, an illuminated model of Disneyland’s Main Street U.S.A, and a custom model train created in partnership with the Napa Valley Wine Train by the Napa Valley Model Railroad Historical Society. Includes an exclusive audio tour created by exhibit curator Michael Campbell, narrated by longtime Disney announcer Bill Rogers, and Disney train-themed merchandise in our Museum Store. Advance purchase admission available on our website.
