Greetings Hornets,

Welcome back from Spring Break!!!

We hope this message finds you well and you all are had a restful break. These past months have been filled with so many feelings and emotions. Our thoughts go out to the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities and those who have been victims of racial violence and injustice. We invite you to read our statement in support in solidarity of our AAPI Communities. These experiences shape our learning and commitment to the communities we serve and we hope to work together to create an inclusive and safe environment where our communities feel supported and like they belong.

Furthermore, the G2B team is eager to share with you all updates and upcoming opportunities. For the month of April we will be hosting an NOCCCD Anti-Racism Campaign G2B Focus Group, Know Your Rights Workshop, April Legal Aid Clinic, Cultivating Resilience Part 3, Drop-in Hours with Janet (G2B Mental Health Therapist), weekly UndocuChats, and Drawing and Sharing our Undocumented Stories Workshop in Collaboration with Immigrants Rising.

Additionally, we will be hosting UndocuAlly Trainings throughout the semester. Students are welcomed to attend these trainings. Lastly, check out the off-campus resources section featuring Immigrants Rising, Informed Immigrant, and the Immigration Legal Resource Center.

As a friendly reminder, we have program staff available to connect on an individual basis. You can book an appointment with our G2B Academic Counselor through this link, a non-academic advising appointment with G2B staff through this link, or call (714) 992-7105. We can also be reached via Instagram, Canvas or by email [email protected].

Thank you all so much!

Respectfully,
