4-H Ross Photography Contest
The due date for county submission is April 1st. This contest provides an opportunity for Arkansas 4-H'ers to demonstrate, compete and exhibit their photography skills. All active 4-H members age 9-19 are eligible.
Each 4-H member may enter two color photographs (one must be in the living category and one must be in the non-living category - if two are entered) and two black-and-white photographs (one must be in the living category and one must be in the non-living category, if two are entered). Four county winners are selected from those entries, one in each category – these will be submitted to the state level.
At the state level, each county may enter four photographs. These must be the same winners in the four categories at county level. First, second and third-place state level winners are selected in each category.
Photographs entered in the Ross Foundation 4-H Photography Contest MUST be of scenes or subjects in Arkansas. All winners will be submitted digitally. Digital cameras should be set at the highest resolution. The photo may be enhanced to improve quality - and you may change a color image into black and white. Plant life (flowers, trees, bushes) are considered non-living for this contest.
