A Note from Scott and Marsha
February 16, 2023
Remember when I said wild life is interesting last week and we talked about rabbits AND duck eggs? We spotted the rabbit and he is the size of a jackrabbit, as Jack witnessed it running from the Garden Center one morning. And the duck eggs? They were empty. SMH.
One of our designers, Billy, celebrated his birthday last week. He has acclimated to our culture but it was time to ramp it up a notch.

Lisa, our new Landscape Client Care Admin, started with us three weeks ago. She, too, has acclimated and fit right in. How do I know this?

Exhibit A. I grabbed the foil from the kitchen and she was in hot pursuit right before Billy arrived. We wrapped and wrapped. Doug jumped in to help. The only regret I have is that we didn't wrap each individual pen for funzies.

After we finished, Doug looked at Billy's desk and said, "Is that my banana?" I was pretty sure the banana was there and it was Billy's, but Lisa and I decided they can hash that out on their own.

If you have not done this to someone you adore, I highly recommend it. The laughter that ensued was worth it. Happy 30th birthday, Billy! It's all downhill now. JK.
We offer fun, laughter, and plants. This, too, we do well.

DRACAENA

A.K.A. Dragon Tree, these easy-care plants are great for office spaces or dark corners that need a bit of livening up! They're not super fond of direct sun and don't like wet feet. With all sorts of leaf shapes and colors, there's sure to be one that suits your tastes.
DIANTHUS

This bright and full flower is the perfect plant to add to your winter/spring containers! It loves to soak up the sun while sitting in well-drained soil. The best way to ensure your plant produces the most blooms is to deadhead the spent flowers.
P.S. These flowers will come back year after year!
DAPHNE ODORA 'AUREOMARGINATA'

This Variegated Winter Daphne is an evergreen shrub that blooms with beautiful winter fragrant flowers. It grows to 3-4' high and spreads 2-4' wide. Daphne is often slow to establish and is best left undisturbed once planted.
