Mon., Feb. 1, 2 pm: Zoom Lunch and Learn with Lapham: “Listen to the Storycrafters: Favorite Stories Retold.” Renowned radio hosts Barry Marshall and Jeri Burns put an original, inventive spin on classic familiar tales. Participants will have a Lunch delivered to their homes. Free. RSVP by Fri., Jan. 29. 
Mon, Feb. 8, 9:30 am: Zoom Men’s Coffee. Join Staying Put member Pete Stair as he hosts a virtual discussion. Make your own cup of coffee and enjoy the lively conversation. Free. RSVP.

Thurs., Feb 18, 12:30 pm: Lunch “In” from Ching’s Table. Happy Chinese New Year! Celebrate by enjoying a delicious 2-course Pan-Asian meal from one of our favorite local restaurants. Fortune Cookie included!

  • Entree: Basil Beef, Pad Thai with Shrimp or Wok Glazed Ginger Chicken

Wed., Feb. 24, 6 pm-ish: Dinner “In” from 123 Restaurant. Chef Jeff will prepare a special menu featuring some of our members’ favorite dishes. A mixed green salad will be followed by:

In the Community
The New Canaan Historical Society offers a virtual presentation: “The History of Mid-Century Modern Architecture in New Canaan” followed by a preview of a film written, directed and produced by Devon Chivvis, which showcases Three Iconic New Canaan Houses. Don’t miss Staying Put Board Member Lyn Chivvis’ beautiful home on Wydendown Road! Tickets are $50 for the Presentation and Film. The Town Players of New Canaan presents a recreation of the recording of a 1940s-style Radio Show. The actors will perform on stage in period costume. Follow the link below to the Town Players website where a link to the show will be available on Fri., Feb. 12.
