March 20, 2019
It's FUN DAY FRIDAY!
So we know we've been sending out a LOT of really important information regarding COVID-19. And we will continue to do so.
BUT, with all of us being home and working with the youngest of our socially distanced citizens, we thought we would take this opportunity to share some fun, engaging resources to stave away the boredom during these slow paced days.
Welcome, to FUN DAY FRIDAY!
Here are a bunch of cool, FREE things you can do to help stay entertained and decompress a bit on your own, as a family or in your child care program.
Text “FOOD” or “COMIDA” to 877-877 to find a feeding site near you. These sites are available to all children 0-18yr. old.
From State leadership:
Yesterday VECF hosted a briefing on Virginia’s recently released child care guidance with state agency officials. Click here to listen to the recording of the call, including important questions from providers across Virginia.
Attention Providers!
Join this Facebook Group created just for child care providers to share ideas, challenges and needs during this time.
CCAofVA has partnered with the Institute for Childhood Preparedness to offer Virginia-based Child Care & ECE Professionals a FREE self-paced online training opportunity to learn more about the COVID-19 crisis as it relates specifically to the child care profession.
