Using their personal vehicles, Ms. Signorelli and Ms. Thrower have driven more than 1,200 miles, served more than 882 readers, and distributed more than 8,000 books within #Cfield neighborhoods with their bookmobile.  

Chesterfield was so impressed by their dedication, they recently donated two vans to Signorelli and Thrower to be transformed into bookmobiles

Pandemic disproportionately affects women

VPM, Virginia's home for public media, is shining a light on Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month this June with a new documentary and two virtual events in partnership with the Alzheimer's Association. The film and the events are focused on the proactive and preventive habits and behaviors that we can implement in our lives as we age. Premiere on June 22nd at 8:00 p.m.

Supplemental Security Income or SSI provides monthly cash payments to help meet the basic needs of children who have a physical or mental disability or who are blind. If you care for a child or teenager with a disability, and have limited income and savings or other resources, your child may be eligible for SSI

Award letters were sent via email for automatically awarded grants May 7, 2021 through May 11, 2021. If you already received a CARES IV award letter, you should not apply for the child care grant. If you did not receive a CARES IV award letter but believe you should have, please contact them via email!
